What is an Educational Consultant?
An educational consultant is someone hired by a parent, a student, or an organization to optimize the progress of students, teachers, and classrooms as well as the general advancements of school systems and administration. Educational consultants are skilled in identifying problems and devising solutions and are qualified with a degree (typically a master’s degree) in curriculum and instruction or educational leadership.
What are the Types of Educational Consultants?
GEE Enterprises provides services for each type consulting.
A consultant who is employed by schools and universities to advise and train faculty and administrators, improve the general learning environment for students, and correct systemic problems.
A consultant who is hired by an individual (either parent or student) to help them accomplish their educational goals and prepare for the admission processes of different colleges/universities/graduate schools.
A consultant who is sought out by private education companies to help develop learning products, tools, techniques, and technologies for student reform and higher achievement.

Tier 3 Consulting Services are offered for classroom teachers as part of the M-Power the Educator™ Series. The primary role of the Educational Consultant will be to coach teachers in the following key areas:
· Supporting teachers of racially diverse gifted, honors, high-academic ability students in creating and implementing culturally responsive lessons, resources, activities and formative assessments that are accessible for all students.
· Developing core classroom components for teachers to implement established routines and daily protocols that facilitate daily instruction and lesson planning by applying critical thinking skills across every domain of learning.
· Providing coaching to teachers within cycles of coaching focused on developing key competencies in teaching students the foundation of fair-minded critical thinking skills.
· Facilitate teacher teams reflecting on practice, analyzing data that leads to deep analysis and identification of inequitable practices in gifted programs, honors (AP & IB) courses, and looking at student work toward the goal of improving pedagogical practices, including the use of Universal Screening, and student outcomes.
· Build teachers understanding and proficiency in inclusive and culturally responsive pedagogy, as well as applying a methodology that is authentically student/learner centered.
· Build trusting relationships with partners that meets educators where they are and empowers them to continue to grow in their profession.
Tier(s) 4 & 5- Consulting Services for Learner/Student and Home & Family Level

1- on 1 consulting sessions, “Critical Conversations” are offered to parents and students in conjunction with the,
Wholistic Education ™ Critical Thinking Initiative 2030 and the M- Power the Parent™ & Trending Genius™ programs. These “Critical Conversations” are facilitated using Socratic questioning and collaborative discussion. There will be separate sessions for students and parents (same topics in different settings).
Gifted Education Equity- GEE Enterprises is launching this series of “Critical Conversations” in conjunction with the GEE Critical Thinking Initiative (CTI) 2030. The series of consulting sessions will cover specific topics facing high achieving gifted and talented students from racially diverse and underrepresented populations.
The sessions are titled, “The Unique Challenges Facing Racially Diverse Gifted Students: Transforming programs to ensure understanding”
Session 1- Feeling isolated within the group/ Maintaining social and intellectual peers’ group.
Session 2- Challenge of navigating multiple worlds/ Bullied, ignored or denigrated for ‘not belonging’.
Session 3- Placement in settings where lack of resources has a negative impact on educational resources.
Fees
Consulting fees are negotiated based on the scope of each project according to the following fee schedule:
